Keedd respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit keedd.co.uk or place an order, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Children's information. Our website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. However, many of our gifts are personalised with a child's details, such as their name, date of birth, birth weight, or time of birth, which you provide as the buyer. We use these details only to make and deliver your order. We never use them for marketing, advertising or profiling, and we never share them except with the providers who host our shop and process your order. If you would like us to delete these details after we deliver your order, just email us.
3. Our legal bases
We use your information because it is necessary to fulfil our contract with you (your order), to meet legal obligations such as keeping tax records, for our legitimate interests in running and improving our shop, or with your consent (for example, marketing emails and non-essential cookies).
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the shop, such as:
- Shopify, which hosts our website and processes orders and payments
- Payment providers such as Shopify Payments and PayPal
- Royal Mail and other couriers, to deliver your parcel
- Email marketing tools, if you have subscribed to our newsletter
- Our accountant and HMRC where required by law
Shopify. Our shop is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of our website in order to provide and improve its services. Shopify may also use information about your interactions with our shop, together with other Shopify merchants, to provide enhanced features; for that processing Shopify is responsible, including for responding to your requests about it. International transfers. Some of our providers, including Shopify, may store or process your information outside the UK. Where information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on a UK adequacy decision or on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order records for 6 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Personalisation details are kept only as long as needed to make your order and deal with any after-sales issue. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work (such as your shopping basket), plus analytics and marketing cookies that help us understand visits and show relevant adverts. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent, which you can change at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
7. Marketing
We send marketing emails only if you have opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information
- Object to or restrict how we use it
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time

9. Security
Our website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers. Access to order information is limited to what is needed to fulfil your order.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
