Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Welcome to Keedd. These terms apply to every order placed at keedd.co.uk. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order, you agree to them.
1. About us
Keedd is a small, independent studio in Northampton, UK, making personalised gifts for babies and children. Keedd is a trading name of DCaro Ltd, Unit F70, The Chapel Place, Abington Square, Northampton, NN1 4AQ, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. You can reach us at contactus@keedd.co.uk.
2. Our products
Every item is made to order and personalised by hand in our studio using machine embroidery, printing or engraving. We photograph our products as accurately as we can, but screen settings vary, and small differences in colour, thread shade or placement are part of the handmade process and are not considered faults.
Some products contain small parts, ribbons or embellishments. Please supervise young children and follow the care and safety information supplied with each item.
3. Personalisation
You are responsible for the personalisation details you give us, including spelling, dates, capital letters and punctuation. We reproduce your text exactly as entered and do not correct spelling unless you ask us to.
Please check your details carefully before you complete your order. Because we aim to dispatch the same working day, changes may not be possible once production has started. If you spot a mistake, email us straight away, and we will do our best to help.
We may decline personalisation that is offensive, infringes someone else's rights (for example trademarked characters or logos), or cannot be produced to a good standard. In that case, we will contact you and offer a refund.
4. Orders and contract
After you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging it. A contract between us is formed when we confirm your order or dispatch it, whichever comes first.
We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or we cannot verify payment. If we cancel, we will refund you in full.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable VAT. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken in full when you order and is processed securely by Shopify Payments and our other payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.
6. Delivery
Delivery times, costs and what happens if a parcel goes missing are set out in our Delivery & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Cancellations and returns
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, personalised and made-to-order items cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind. This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described. Full details are in our Delivery & Returns policy.
8. Faulty or incorrect items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or with a mistake we made in the personalisation, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will remake the item, replace it or refund you, as appropriate. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
9. Gift orders
If you send an order directly to someone else, we will not include prices in the parcel. The buyer remains responsible for the order and for any issues raised about it.
10. Intellectual property
All designs, illustrations, photographs and text on this website belong to Keedd and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission.
11. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
12. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal strikes, severe weather or supplier failures. If this happens, we will tell you as soon as we can and, if the delay is significant, offer you a refund.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please email us first — we will always try to put things right. If we cannot resolve it, you may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
